Within the framework of the DEHRR project, a teachers meeting was organised by the team of the Educational department of the Palace of Versailles on the “European royal residences”.
Two Polish colleagues, Julia Dobrzańska and Katarzyna Liwak, came to present and make discover in music the Palace of Wilanόw and its gardens. About forty teachers of the “académie de Versailles” attended.

Royal residences open theirs doors for the EHD and allow European citizens to discover emblematic places for a day or more.
Every year this joint action of the Council of Europe and the European Commission is celebrated in 50 countries.
The programme of all the events organized is available on the official web site of the EHD.
Monika Buraczynska, an employee of Education Department in Wilanow Palace Museum, discovered Hampton Court Palace (HCP), one of the Historic Royal Palaces, during her Leonardo da Vinci one-month placement in February 2011. Placement’s topic was accessibility of HCP, especially education events, for people with all kinds of impairment.
From the 7th of February to the 4th of March 2011, Konrad Pyzel (Wilanow Palace) took part in a training placement under the Sharing Skills in Europe project supported by the Leonardo da Vinci programme. His internship took place in Mafra National Palace (Portugal).
