Technical meeting “Improving Access at the Palace-Museums”


This technical meeting will be held at the National Palace of Sintra (Portugal). Its aims will be to present the measures and strategies implemented by ARRE members to improve access for all, to discuss specific projects carried out by ARRE members and to promote good practices which could be adapted in other places. 

Technical Meeting "Using GIS to improve maintenance of a historic residence"


This technical meeting studied and discussed the value of using GIS (Geographic Information System) to improve risk assessment and risk management in historic residences. Joint Conference ARRE/DEMHIST

Please find attached the call for papers of the conference on the “Authenticity in the Conservation of Historic House Museums and Palace-Museums”. This joint conference will be held at the Palais de Compiègne, Compiègne/France from 7 to 10 October 2014. Abstracts and biographies can be sent in English or in French by 31 December, 2013.

Technical Meeting "Improving our Knowledge of Visitors to the European Royal Residences"


This technical meeting was held at the Palace of Versailles (France) on 7 & 8 November 2013 and permitted to improve the knowledge of the visitors of European royal residences. The aim was to compare different methods used within the network to better understand the public, compare results of surveys and identify actions that could be carried out jointly by the members.
